Father & son - Irish Dancers like you've never seen.....

Demetrios Demetriou and his 13 year old son performed an Irish comedy dance in the final of Britains Got Talent.

Demetrios Demetriou and his 13 year old son performed an Irish ‘comedy dance’ in the final of Britain’s Got Talent. They described their act as ‘two fat versions of Michael Flatly with a Greek element’.

Demetrios said that he was determined to have a close relationship with his son after growing up without a father figure in his life.

"I do everything with my family because I didn't have a dad to do this stuff with. I was five when he died and my brother was one. He was about to be christened when my father died so they named him after my dad out of respect.”

"I don't remember much about my dad, apart from everyone telling me he was gone, he wasn't there anymore."

He added: "It's made me more conscious of spending time with Lagi and treasure every minute I have with him. I'm 42, I've done what I've got to do.

"It's Michalakis’ time. I should do what he wants to do so at least I get included."
