For years the "establisment" claims that boys and girls are the same that we just treat them differently. Any mother (or father) who spends time at a toddler group, will see clearly that girls are more likely to play quietly and learn and boys tend to run around pulling things apart...
We have no treated our daugther and older son any differently, infact our daughter played with cars a huge amount. However her games involved them lining up and chatting to each other, where as our son drove them around crashing into things....
