TOPIC: Going back to court!!!

Going back to court!!! 3 years, 3 months ago #475

Hi Everyone

Maybe someone might have somew advice for me?

I'm thinking of going back to court to fight for custody of my son, i lost 4 years ago but was able to have normal visiting, my son who is now 6 years old and suffers from possible ADHD or Aspergers keeps asking to live with me. He has done for the last two years, but due to my own personal circumstances, i had to move back to my parents house after my second wife died of cancer last year, i havnt really taken it on board.

What are my chances of winning if we go back to court? My ex wife has had several run ins with social services and police for leaving my son unattended. Can i get legal aid to fight again???

Steve

Hi Steve, sounds like a rough ride in the last few years.
Sorry I really do not know much about this area, but I do know that there is a reference here [url:2j7l2znz]www.dadtalk.co.uk/directory_of_services....al%20%20%20%20issues[/url]to an organisation that should be able to point you in the right direction. There is a telephone number or you can go to their website and have a look around at the other areas they work on.

It would be good to know how this progresses!

A mate of mine spoke to the Children's Legal Centre today and they were really helpful.

Check the link out in Batman's post. https://www.dadtalk.co.uk/directory_of_ ... 0%20issues

Nice steer Batman.

PS is there a Robin on the forum?
