The DCSF would be grateful for your views by 5 February regarding new school complaint service.
As part of taking this work forward the DCSF is consulting on regulations underpinning the Service. The consultation can be found here
The DCSF would be grateful for your views by 5 February. The DCSF apologises for the short time period in which to respond. It is critical that the regulations are in place if they are to begin the small scale testing phase in April 2010. This means that this consultation period is necessarily short. The DCSF will provide as many opportunities as possible for stakeholders to feed in their views during the consultation period.
The consultation document also contains details of the background to this work. Please note that the Service will be introduced in phases on a local authority basis which will include most maintained schools in the authority.
