Sharing decisions could mean more sex

Women who make all the decisions in their marriage and home life have sex less often than those who discuss choices with their husband, a report has found.

Some bossy homemakers go up to 100 times longer without sex than women who make important household decisions as a couple or as a family.

These decisions include the daily and weekly budget, food shopping, visiting family and friends and dealing with doctor's appointments and other events.

Feisty women seem to be taking control in the bedroom too, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore study suggests, because less sex may be a sign of women protecting their 'sexual rights'.

Researchers looked at women in six African countries where roles are clearly defined.
