Public Humiliation - The Pereverance

So I think this is my first full consistent week of Slendertoning.
I have not noticed any difference to the circumference of my gut yet but I suspect that this may be too early in the process. I did measure my waist but I will not tell you what that measurement was because I am still trying to hold onto to the small shreds of dignity that I have left. I am not sure where I placed those small shreds of dignity but I am convinced that I have some. They are probably in the garage underneath my sense of perspective.
So how has the slendertone been this week? Well I have learnt that you need to set it at a reasonable setting, to get it buzzing, and then work your way up throughout the programme. I have also learnt that if you adjust it mid way through a buzz and you grab hold of the electric pad it shocks you. That hurt. I also discovered that if you have the electric pad touching your hip it cause the pain to rattle your leg. That took twenty minutes to work out what was going on.
In summary, I have not seen any benefits yet but I think it is too early to tell. I am a big fan of the fact that I can use it while I work or watch TV. It has also had the odd side effect of making me think a little bit more about what I eat. I have found that life as a parent is very driven by routine, in particular the kids routine. The kids eat early at 5pm and so because I work at home a great deal this means that I eat early as well. Consequently buy 9pm I am HUNGRY! What do you do when you are hungry at the time of night? You snack. So I am now on a mission to cut out the snacking.
I will keep you posted. Next week I away from home for a few days, so we shall see if that screws with my routine.
