Father’s Day “Bee”n & Gone

Well that’s father’s day all wrapped up for another year. Felt a tad odd if I’m honest as it’s the first father’s day since my own dad died last December but the boys lavished love, homemade cards and a hat on me so all was well!

The best part of the day was that I got to give my wife and the boys a little gift too.  Every summer my wife laments about never having done the Festival thing in her teens and dreams of short summer dresses teamed with a floppy hat and Doc Martins. Well thanks to my new friends over at Rowse Honey this July the family is heading off to the Latitude festival in Southwold.

But wait, not only does the wife get to live out her floppy hat Doc Martin dreams but Harvey gets to spend time at The Rowse Howse of Honey. Why is that so exciting. Harvey LOVES honey!! Like Winnie-the-Pooh Harvey’s tummy loves the sticky oozy stuff and so he’ll love the opportunity to visit their buzzing beehive where he can learn all about bees and honey. There’ll be busy bee activities, face painting, waggle dancing and, of course, honey tasting.

If you want to win family tickets for 2 adults and 2 children (under 13 years old) to Latitude Festival with Rowse Honey then all you have to do is simply go to the Rowse Honey Facebook page for your chance to win.

I’m especially looking forward to taking Jasper, who despite his name hates all things bee and wasp like (unfortunate sting incident last summer, the less said the better!) so wonder how he’ll get on meeting the Queen Bee and all her friends, like Miss B. Keeper, Dancing Bee and Mr Green Thumbs.

Ahhhhhh now I have that little ditty running round my head.

Isn't it funny how a bear likes honey? Buzz! Buzz! Buzz! I wonder why he does?
