The Children’s Legal Centre’s have launched a new website, www.lawstuff.org.uk, targeted at young people.

It contains information about their legal rights and the laws affecting them – education, healthcare, discrimination, policing, age-based laws, leaving home and more. It also contains information for young people who are in care or leaving care and for migrant children.

The information on the website is presented in an accessible, interactive way, through questions and answers, a ‘mythbusters’ tool and case studies. The content, functionality and features of the website will be added to throughout the year, including through the addition of vodcasts.

The website is bright & colourful, and very easy to navigate around – pass the web address onto your teens & give them access to some really useful information. For example, at what age can you…buy/consume alcohol, get a body piercing, babysit, buy a pet…?

The Children's Legal Centre is a unique, independent national charity concerned with law and policy affecting children and young people. The Children's Legal Centre has many years of experience in providing legal advice and representation to children, their carers and professionals throughout the UK. Here at DadTalk we are pleased to partner with the Children’s Legal Centre who provide support through PubTalk for your legal queries.

The Children’s Legal Centre can be accessed here and the new website for young people can be found here.
