Asbestos in schools 'a national scandal' – MPs.

The presence of asbestos in most UK state schools constitutes a "national scandal", MPs and peers have said.

An all-party group is calling for a scheme to remove the material after studying estimates which suggest it was present in more than 75% of schools.

More than 140 teachers have died from the rare asbestos-related cancer mesothelioma in the past 10 years.

Adlai is On the Move

Before last week, Adlai had only taken one step at a time on his own before crashing down on his nappy-cushioned bum.  We even got excited one evening a couple of weeks ago when, as we were Skyping with my brother and sister-in-law, we tried to get him to show them his one step and he surprised everyone with four in a row.  Show-off.
